Adult Counselling

Counselling for adults can address a wide range of issues which can occur from our early 20s all the way through to end-of-life. It is worth listing a number of challenges here for the sake of recognition and of normalising the life experiences which can sometimes hold us back. These can include:

  • conflict in the workplace and at home
  • substance use/gambling/gaming problems
  • anxiety & stress
  • anger and irritability, 
  • suicidal thoughts and behaviours
  • identity, body image
  • social isolation

We can identify what is important then take steps to move towards the life we want to be living. Sometimes we get caught up in our thoughts and that can effect our feelings, when we can recognise thoughts which aren’t helpful we can then focus on the thoughts which will improve our mood and give space to focus on what’s important.
